Marne-la-Vallée offers the French Open an opportunity to become the largest Grand Slam Tournament



Marne-la-Vallée has filed an official application to host the international French Open tennis championship Roland-Garros and the Headquarters of the FFT (Fédération Française de Tennis - French Tennis Federation) and the Federal Tennis Academy.

Two possible sites of about 35 hectares each: one at Val d’Europe, in the municipality of Bailly-Romainvilliers, and the other in Bussy Saint-Georges.

The appeal of Marne-la-Vallée and the capability it has of hosting under exceptional conditions numerous publics hailing from all over Europe can provide the FFT with a unique opportunity to develop the tournament, as well as a profitable business model through the hosting of additional events.
